When I look at pictures of my Ancestors or Troopers who have gone on before me, it saddens me that I have so little knowledge of their lives. These efforts will insure that those coming after me will know me better. With that, I dedicate this book to my children, Trip and David Gregory, and to The North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
